About Us
Symbols and Signs was born during one of the most challenging seasons of my life—the Covid-19 pandemic. At the time, it was just a part-time passion project alongside my full-time career in education. For 10 years, I worked in schools, and while I loved my role, I constantly found myself creating flyers, logos, and designs for events. Creativity was always tugging at me, asking for more space to shine.
Outside of graphic design, I poured my artistry into the community—organizing events, building balloon arches, and decorating spaces that brought people joy. Though I am a self-taught graphic designer, my love for art runs deep. Drawing, painting, and creating are simply a part of who I am.
When I lost my job of 10 years, I was faced with uncertainty, but also with clarity. I was reminded of powerful words spoken to me: “God wants you to be the artist you are and create.” In that moment, I knew it was time to stop holding back and step fully into my purpose.
What started as a side hustle is now my full-time calling. Symbols and Signs isn’t just about printing or design—it’s about transformation. It’s about taking a vision and bringing it to life, whether through custom logos, personalized merchandise, or artistic balloon displays. Every creation is made with heart, originality, and a belief that art can inspire and uplift.
